Konaje Kallu

I had the opportunity to visit Konaje Kallu recently and it was an absolutely thrilling experience! The trek to the top of the hill was an adventure in itself, with a mix of steep and gradual inclines that kept me on my toes. The highlight of the trek was the Sheva temple we stumbled upon midway through our ascent. It was a welcome respite from the heat and a great opportunity to catch our breath. After resting for a while in the temple, we resumed our trek to the top of the hill. The final stretch was a bit challenging, but the breathtaking view from the top made it all worth it. The scenery was simply stunning, and we were rewarded with a panoramic view of the surrounding hills and valleys. At the top, we found a small Sheva linga and poured water over it as a sign of respect. The sense of peace and tranquility that enveloped us was palpable. We took some time to soak in the view and relish the moment before starting our descent. Overall, I would highly recommend a trek to Konaje Kallu to anyone looking for an adventure in the great outdoors. The challenging climb, the serene temple, and the breathtaking view from the top make for a memorable experience. Just be sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen, as it can get quite hot!

You have to go a bit inside to reach the starting point of Konaje kallu. You can park ur vehicle down and either climb the rocks for few click or just sit to relax and obseve the nature. You have to trek to reach the top where there are caves and temple where you can sit and mediate. You have to walk for more than 30 min to reach the temple area. Not sure if there is another way to reach the top but its like walking thru the mountains to reach the top. Its a wonderful experience, monsoons might be risky as the mud might b slippery, otherwise you can leave early in the morning and reach top and take some rest. You dont get any food so you can carry water and some snacks. You also have monkeys on the top so make sure you keep ur stuffs safe. Climbing with the group is a great experience. You can walk take break, take pics and enjoy. There are no offcial authorities around to guide or tell you abt timings. But it is safe to come down before its dark by atleast 6pm bcz later it gets too dark and you don’t have any street lights or people around

Place to explore.. it's quite and lonely mountain peak.. only few aware if this place. Never crowded. Hiking yes.. but the paths are already there. On your way you might be lucky to meet monks. Best part of the place is the end point. Such amazing and astonishing climax. Most beautiful and the best place. You will find variety for snake if you notice clearly because on our way we encountered 4 of the different kinds. Worth visiting this place One of my great favorite journey.
